Progress in the policy agenda regarding the Government Strategy on Hydrogen
On December 15, 2020, Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy Eric Wiebes sent a letter to the House of Representatives regarding ‘Progress in the policy agenda regarding the Government Strategy on Hydrogen’. We are delighted to report that a specific passage in this letter explicitly mentioned the H-vision project and our ambition to quickly achieve a major reduction in CO2 - emissions.
‘The H-vision project is important for the development of blue hydrogen. Den Helder is also developing plans. The H-vision project ties in very well with the development of a CO₂ infrastructure (Porthos) in the port of Rotterdam. I am currently talking with the parties involved to determine how the projects can be realised.’
